Aloe Vera for Sunburn

Aloe Vera for Sunburn

It needs to be fresh from the garden as usually "aloe vera gel" has alcohol in it to keep it together. But if you find one without this or additives, let us know.

Aloe vera grows like mad in our garden, low maintenance, not much watering, so perfect.

So if we get caught by that fierce sun, it's Aloe time straight away.

Just snap a leaf off and slit it down the middle to open the juicy flesh up. Then just glide it over your skin.

We put ours in the fridge before applying and it feels cold and delicious.

You may experience it as a bit sticky when applying but it soon absorbs into the skin.

Mother nature does it again.
