Bring a new you to 2017

Bring a new you to 2017

In all of us there are parts we hide, parts we're afraid to show to others but more importantly afraid to show to ourselves. Ultimately you don't have to show anyone anything, in fact it might not be the right time to reveal an intimate part of you, but then again, it might. While initially revealing a part of you may be terrifying, it might just bring you the excitement and passion that has been missing in your life.

Maybe you think you want things to stay just the way they are, and you may but for most of us we're hungry for change. Why else would buying lotto tickets or drinking alcohol (a huge state changer) be so popular. Change whether we like it or not is bubbling up inside of us desperate for release.

So here's the thing: If it's change you want then it's you who is going to have to change. Because that's the only way that real sustainable change ever takes places, it just is. Otherwise you win lotto and blow it in a year, or get drunk have a great night and feel like a complete idiot the next day as you quiver in the corner afraid of the world, (or maybe that's just me).

Change occurs when you gain access to a new part of you and spend time getting to know and support it until it becomes integrated into you. And that means you're going to have to bring this new part out to the world, and that can be terrifying when you're not yet sure if this new you will be greeted with universal praise.

Yes bringing it out is terrifying but fundamentally it's liberating, because it's been knocking on your door from the beginning. It's probably made an appearance in your life sometime in the past only to be quickly shunted away. So get support, find others that have your back when things get a bit shaky, because when something is new you can almost guarantee that there will be moments when things don't go fully to plan.

For me I'm bringing out my weird. I dream weird, I feel into things, I notice stuff in an unusual way. I play with energies, I move my energy, I move others energies, and I have unbelievable amounts of passion and fire to share with this world. So I'm bringing it out (it's been leaking out anyway) and I'm bringing it to you, because it's time, because there's nothing more that I would rather do, because that my friends is how I stay turned on to my life, that my friends is how I stay focused on the work that I am really here to do.

Excited to hear what you'll be bringing forth this year.
