Pericardium 6 for Nausea & Anxiety

So anytime you or your family have nausea or a sick tummy, then the acupuncture point Pericardium 6 is for you to use. Anxiousness can also be alleviated by pressing on this point as well.

How to find:  As you can see from the picture the point is three of your fingers width down from the wrist crease in between the two tendons. (Use the person's fingers to find the width down from their wrist)

How to use:  Press slowly into this point as it will be tender if you are feeling sick. If you can't find the tender point just move up or down from this point and you will find it. Apply steady pressure for 2 to 3 minutes and then see how you feel, keep rubbing this point every time the sickness comes back. Teaching this to your kids is magic and they can do it to themselves, it's the best.

For pregnant ladies this is a point that can help relieve morning sickness and totally safe to use continuously throughout the day. It's also a fabulous tool to have in the birthing suite.

Try it out.

Best, Tabitha
