Sperm quality matters for fertility

Sperm quality matters for fertility

It's so true, statistics say that 40% of fertility issues now appear from the man's side. Meaning that sperm quality needs to be enhanced, so here are some simple things which you can do:

1. A good quality antioxidant and vitamins: like Omega 3 (helps the sperm head as 1/3 of it is made up of fat) plus vitamins A, C, E, D and B. Selenium, Zinc, Magnesium, Folate, CoQ10, Ubiquinol, Resveratrol, L'Arginine, Cartine and Taurine.

2. Improved nutrition: High intake of chicken, fish, fruit and vegetables, preferably organic. Improves sperm morphology vs high saturated and salty ready meals which will deplete sperm count, concentration and morphology.

3. Keeping the testicles cool: 34 degrees is perfect, any higher and it will kill the sperm. So no phones in pockets or laptops on lap, steer clear of regular saunas and hot tubs, prolonged driving or sitting and excessive cycling will all overheat the testicles.

Just taking these three tips in will dramatically improve sperm quality.

Best, Tabitha
