Stress: Worry & Over Thinking

One common type of stress is worry and over thinking, the stress that effects your gut and digestive system. It can be an outside stressful situation that creates worry or it can be the way you deal with it. Worry and over thinking effects the gut, spleen, stomach and the digestive system so the area you have to work on is the gut. We can do this in a couple of ways...

The dietary advice in Chinese medicine is warm nourishing foods like soups, stews and broths, these bone broths are great for the digestive system. Eliminating sugar is a really big plus to help you overcome worry, the next is probiotics to ensure your gut health is good.

Then you've got to try and deal with this over thinking and worry, one of the things we tend to do is over think rather than take a thought and simulate it through our body. Meditation can really help to empty your mind and thoughts and also empty your whole digestive tract.
