Menopause = Self Love

Menopause is a time of shifting sands in our life, change.

It's a time when our body outwardly and inwardly changes, it does and doesn't do what it used to do.

How do we deal with this? This is the question I have been asking myself.

I'm coming up to 49 this April and my cycle is changing, my skin is doing weird things, my libido is changing and my moods are too.

I feel this urgency to be really me and I can't seem to put up with people and life events that don't turn me on, I just can't do that and if I do I pay for it.

There are so many jewels that have risen within me about this change but for this blog I just want to say that I know if I don't shower myself in the biggest mother load of self love, this change will be a rocky one.

Loving the change is the key, loving and letting go of who I used to be and loving every inch of the me that is emerging.

So Menopausal women what are your insights, intuitions and thoughts on this change, what helped you or is helping you?

Women need to hear and be heard to feel supported around this life changing event, I know I do.

P.S Chinese herbs, Red clover, acupuncture plus less heating foods and drinks, regular exercise, following my bliss, laughter and sharing with other women are all things that are helping me and of course loads of 'Self Love'.
