It's so easy to get into the trap of doing and being everything as a mum.
Of course we can do it all but does it drain us or enhance our life?
I have learned that mothering goes better if we put ourselves first and truly look at what we need to be the best mum for our kids.
I soon realised I needed time for self and I didn't need that much time out but I needed it regularly and this made me a contented mum who was there in her body for my kids.
Mothering is amazing but it's also relentless and we need to be nurtured along the way.
Tip one: Get a babysitter when they're young, the kids love it and then you can regenerate to be the best version of yourself.
Tip two: Allow yourself the pleasure of dropping into your feminine essence daily by yourself, this will help you to reconnect to another part of you other than the mother. You can do this easily with simple things like sitting in nature, having a cuppa tea in the garden, dancing to your favourite song, having a bath, being creative, basically anything that brings you joy.
Tip three: Get some acupuncture this will change everything.
